Our client specializes in sales training for salespeople and managers in a variety of industries. They implement sales development programs, best practices, sales management skills, and programs to convert a service culture to a sales culture. They believe in helping their clients create a unique and positive buying experience for their customers. They are seeking a sharp, creative, and business-savvy Content Developer to help build engaging and customized training materials that resonate with sales teams and meet business needs.
This is a part-time, contract position. Candidates may be based anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Create, write, and build training around sales, communication, and soft skills from scratch
- Extract and structure knowledge from subject matter experts (SMEs) and turn it into impactful learning tools
- Design content with a deep understanding of the client's business context, goals, and sales culture
- Ensure credibility with sales audiences through relatable tone, examples, and practical application
- Leverage existing IP and develop new IP to deliver on the client engagements' goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape content direction and scope
- Extract external company nuances and jargon and implement these findings into training materials
- Deliver content that is polished, accurate, and on-brand
- Remain responsive, professional, and detail-oriented across all stages of development
Qualifications:
- 5+ years content development experience in a business setting
- Experience in adult learning techniques and methodologies
- Experience writing and developing training around sales/communication/soft skills
- Extensive experience working in client-facing roles
- Ability to listen to sales or customer service teams and identify learning opportunities
- Ability to create trainings and demos showing how preferred sales, communication, and soft skills look and sound like
- Motivated and diligent self-starter with an ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
- Superior written and oral communication skills; detail-oriented
Compensation: ~$60-100k/hour; DOE
