    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Jenkins Group is seeking a Content Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Director with ongoing marketing initiatives and day-to-day tasks across six publishing brands, including Jenkins Group and five major book award programs.

    Website & Blog Migration

    • Assist with website and blog migrations
    • Ensure content is organized, accurate, and aligned across all brands
    • Coordinate updates with developers as needed

    Copywriting

    • Assist with writing and editing blogs, website copy, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
    • Help maintain a consistent voice and tone across all brands

    Social Media & Winner Engagement

    • Create fresh content (photos, videos, graphics, UGC) and schedule posts across platforms
    • Help manage and grow engagement with award winners, authors, and followers
    • Monitor comments, messages, and interactions

    SEO Support (Bonus)

    • Use tools like SEMrush to identify content opportunities
    • Assist with keyword research and basic on-page SEO improvements
    • Support implementation of SEO recommendations

    IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • Strong writing and editing skills (this is a must)
    • Enjoys content creation and building communities on social media
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Creative, flexible, and collaborative
    • Comfortable taking direction and following through on tasks
    • Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple projects

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing (or related field)
    • Experience working in Asana or a similar project management system
    • Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS
    • Experience with SEO or tools like SEMrush is a plus, but not required
    • Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations
    • Flexibility to take on other duties as assigned
