    Job Description

    • Must live within commuting distance of STCU's Headquarters located in Liberty Lake, WA.*

    The Content Marketing intern ’s primary responsibilities will include supporting the development and optimization of written content across internal and external channels, including website content, blogs, email, and advertising. This position will assist with drafting, editing, and refining content to support brand and campaign objectives, with an emphasis on clear, audience-focused writing.

    This position works closely with both the Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing teams at STCU and will also team up with other departments throughout the credit union as needed.

    Other opportunities may include website content editing, basic SEO and AI-assisted content optimization, research to support content development, and assistance with content planning and documentation. Please note that while content may support social media efforts, social media content creation will not be a primary focus of this position.

    Hours per Week : 15-30

    Beginning Date : January 20 or ASAP

    Car Needed : No

    Mileage Reimbursement : Yes, *excluding travel to and from the work location

    Duration : Six months

    Eligibility : Minimum of junior standing (master's students accepted)

    Applicable Majors : Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Candidates must currently be enrolled in a local college for the entirety of the internship. Must currently be enrolled with a Junior, Senior, or Graduate standing pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related area. Must be able to work a minimum of 5 consecutive hours per shift.
    • Coursework or experience in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity, tone, and detail.
    • Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and channels.
    • Organized, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
    • Student must be a hard worker, self-driven, with a fun, can-do attitude.
