- Minimum 2 years’ experience in newsgathering and/or production.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience writing, producing and desktop editing systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience line-producing newscasts
- Experience editing content on a desktop editing system
- Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills both in English and Spanish.
- Ability to make priority decisions under a deadline
- Strong ability to deliver news as it develops on all current and future platforms
- Team player mentality
Desired Characteristics
- Show situational awareness and strong news judgment for news and weather content.
- Ensure fast turnaround for breaking news/weather and timely content.
- Possess editing skills on non-linear programs to edit video content including news package, interviews, enterprise stories and segments.
- Have strategic thinking, researching and organizational skills.
- Have excellent time-management skills, prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
- Have experience producing content on a wheel and changing out older content for live and/or fresh content.
- Be familiar with other streaming/digital platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, etc.).

- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work in Albuquerque, NM
- Must be 18 years or older
- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
