Job Description

California Closets Charlotte is looking for a Content and Social Media Specialist. The qualified applicant should have previous experience in a small to mid-size entrepreneurial business environment, as well as producing pertinent, interesting, and creative content for a variety of digital platforms.

The Content and Social Media Specialist will create and distribute content in various formats across multiple channels with the goal of enhancing our brand and driving digital follower expansion. This role will report to the VP of Administration and will manage/post multiple entities with a focus on the closet and organization industry.

Responsibilities:

· Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other SM platforms.

· Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.

· Create and curate content for our social media platforms, mainly by visiting Job Sites to capture content.

· Familiarity with photography and videography for use in social graphics and content.

· Review live content monthly and create reports outlining success rates.

· Assist in the development and execution of other marketing campaigns and strategies, such as print, digital, outdoor, broadcast.

· Help coordinate marketing events and promotional activities.

Qualifications

Experience:

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role is preferred.

· An understanding of the best use practices for social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

· Prefer a working knowledge of SEO.

Skills:

· Proven ability to communicate with tact, clarity, and accuracy.

· Excellent proofreading skills, and ability to translate technical information, and convey it to a lay audience.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without supervision.

· Someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and coworkers.

· Organizational, as well as computer skills are also required.
