    Servpro of South Orange County is currently seeking a Contents Technician to join our team. This role focuses on the cleaning, handling, packing, and restoration of customers’ personal belongings (contents) affected by water, fire, or mold damage.

    As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Contents Pack out and Cleaning Technician demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory, pack, and transport customer contents safely and efficiently

    Perform detailed cleaning of contents using specialized equipment and techniques

    Document items and maintain accurate records of services performed

    Assist with pack-outs and pack-backs at residential and commercial properties

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas

    Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

    Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety

    Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

    Assist restoration team with cleaning, light repairs, and job site support as needed

    Support EMS crews with water mitigation, demolition, and job site setup when needed

    Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

    Willingness to learn and grow within the company

    Flexible and able to work across multiple departments as needed

    Position Requirements

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred

    High school diploma/GED (preferred)

    At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction

    IICRC certification a plus, not required

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

    Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

    Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)

    Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

    Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
