Overview:

As part of the Content & Communications team, the _Content & Communications Intern _is a creative mind that will contribute to marketing campaigns for Continental and General Tire’s social media platforms, website, e-mail campaigns, partnerships, product launches, promotions, and events.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and a quick learner with a strong desire to work in an extremely fast paced, team-oriented environment. Must have the ability to stay organized while multi-tasking and handle pressure with adherence to quality and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities of this role will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

• Gain hands-on social media experience for business in multiple platforms
• Assist in writing, scheduling, and distribution of content
• Develop creative and project management skills by assisting with special initiatives such as video shoots, newsletters, event planning
• Support influencer programs through discovery, analytics, and evaluations
• Work closely with an experienced internal marketing team, along with external agencies, to learn about a wide range of marketing strategies

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Minimum sophomore standing or higher
• Able to commute and work onsite at our Tire HQs in Fort Mill, SC
• Demonstrates time management skills
