  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Tire Real Estate Intern will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    • Collaborate within an international real estate team
    • Independent assumption of project tasks
    • Coordinate with Tire Americas Business on strategic utilization of real estate portfolio, real estate market analyses, and identification of organizational opportunities
    • Support in due diligence and site selection processes and site selection as well as real estate valuations
    • Support real estate transactional work including lease acquisitions, lease renewals, real estate purchases, real estate dispositions including offices, industrial and manufacturing
    • Analyze and review proposals/offers and prepare financial modeling (including lease versus buy, NPV calculations, etc.)
    • Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in real estate and/or finance
    • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
    • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
    • Must be able to commute to our Fort Mill HQ 3 days/week
    • Confident handling of MS Office programs (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • High level of commitment, flexibility, teamwork, organizational and communication skills
