    Job Description

    Winchester VA has their own HRIS system, with also functions as Time and Attendance, Payroll and LMS, called Mapper. This system is different from SAP, Success Factors that is use by Continental USA and there is a diphase of keeping all the employee data, like: employee personal information, occupational information, job and salary history up to date in Success Factors. The objective of the project will be keep updated Success Factor with the changes we made in Mapper and both systems have the same exact information.

    This is a full-time paid summer internship opportunity working in our Human Resources Department.  The hours would be dayshift Monday thru Friday and the position would be for approximately three months.  

    Applicant for position must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university.  Degree preferences preferably in Business, Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Leadership, etc.  Applicant must have a 2.8 GPA.

    1. Identify which data must be updated in Success Factors
    2. Establish frequency of the updates to be send
    3. Method to be used to update the data (interface) that will be acceptable for Continental USA.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. HR Department functionality
    2. HRIS importance and use
    3. HR Compliance and Reporting
    4. HR applicable laws

    Main Tasks

    1. Meet with each HR team member to understand which available data in Mapper should be in Success Factors
    2. Create a list of fields from Mapper that needs to be updated in Success Factors and include the concept, purpose, and time frame
    3. Coordinate with Benefits, Payroll and Success Factor administrator in which format they will be need the data
    4. Make the proposal of the interphase file
