Job Description

As a CNC Mill Operator/Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Operating CNC mill equipment following a production schedule.
• Labeling parts correctly
• Stamping parts when necessary
• Moving finished parts to the proper areas.
• Keeping the machine filled with coolant.
• Ensuring that refractometer readings are within acceptable levels.
• Monitoring and filling the way oil reservoir.
• Maintaining a clean workstation.
• Programming and machining new fixtures.
• Training new employees.
• Programming and machining prototype parts.
• Programming and machining new jobs.

This position is on our 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday-Friday). Pay is based on experience: $16-35/hour.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – CNC MILL OPERATOR 1

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC mill experience.
• Ability to work 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – CNC MILL OPERATOR 2

All basic qualifications required for Operator 1, and:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC mill experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Intermediate experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – CNC MILL MACHINIST 1

All basic qualifications required for Operator 2, and:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC mill experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Advanced experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
• CMM experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – CNC MILL MACHINIST 2

All basic qualifications required for Machinist 1, and:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant CNC mill experience.
• Advanced maintenance experience
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Expert level experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
