  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Industrialization of all new products and equipment, capacity analysis for equipment and footprint planning. Financial planning of all equipment from order, startup at the machine builder, shipping, utilities, installation and startup.
    • Liaison between Central Industrial Engineering, headquarters in Frankfurt and all other CIE departments around the globe. and the plant engineering team.
    • Budget responsible for engineering, facilities, prototype/service and tool crib.
    • Implement company policies and procedures. Assure uniformity of application between departments.
    • Management of prototype / service department. Budget, staffing, capacity, training and industrialization of equipment required to produce prototype and service volumes.
    • Product change management from design review, planning, purchase, fabrication, engineering trails to the final PPAP with the customer.
    • Monitor each department work results against existing standards to assure adherence to quantity, quality, cost, and safety requirements.
    • Employee development, training, coaching, mid and final yearly evaluations, plant goal and objective monitoring and evaluations and succession planning.
    • ESH Plant and personnel safety from security, camera systems, badge access systems, chemical management and facility fire and safety for both site 1 and site 2.
    • Facilities management with responsibility for all utilities, HVAC, component wash, four automatic storage and retrieval systems, spare part management and grounds keeping.
    • Coordinate as applicable realization, qualification, PPAP, and launch of new assets.
    • Analysis of product and process cost targets with OEE focus improvement and investment planning.

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 8-10 Years specific position experience
    • High degree of computer skills/facility/programs/software.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to facilitate team culture to meet company goals.
    • Ability to develop team leaders in every discipline needed for Operations area.
    • Solid understanding of EBS product to include MKC2 and facility processes.
    • Understanding and application of corporate vision into Operations processes.
    • Ability to create accurate, timely, and meaningful measuring systems.
    • High degree of performance and standards.
    • Good financial and fiscal knowledge/skills.
    • Ability to prioritize area needs and wants.
    • Knowledge of customer base.
    • Working knowledge of PFMEA/Control Plans/Product & Process Drawings
