    Job Description

    Ulbrich is seeking a ** Contract Account Specialist** who is looking for an exciting opportunity with an industry leader in the metals field. As part of the Ulbrich Sales team you will be the point of contact for customer accounts, supporting contract and account administration, ensuring customer transactions and contract terms are handled accurately and within the terms of the agreement. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist sales with transactions related to key contract-based accounts, consignment programs, vendor program inventory (VPI), and other administrative activities as needed.
    • Process order entry, review contracts, and review the life cycle of order processing to ensure the integrity of the original customer contract.
    • Follow, and if warranted address, amendments and/or terminations of the customer order.
    • Work closely with materials management to ensure supply chain and inventory levels meet customer contract.
    • Work closely with outside vendors on lead times, purchase order issues, and progress of supply chain for customer orders.
    • Review open backlog, work with production teams to identify delays, and communicate changes of original terms to customers.
    • Analyze sales trends and communicate data to the Ulbrich sales team.
    • Partner with sales and material management on forecast information, based on customer feedback and/or historical data.
    • Prepare quotes, proposals, and account documentation in Ulbrich’s internal commercial systems.
    • Work closely and promptly with customers on resolving account-related issues.
    • Promptly escalate complex matters to management for resolution.
    • Partner with sales team members to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
    • Track and report contract performance, customer usage, and other related metrics.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and contract compliance. A bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field is preferred. Must be results-driven, self-motivated and able to work in a team-based work environment (both large and small teams). The ability to understand and work effectively with the specifications and applications of an extensive and technical product line is necessary.
