Location: On-site – Ventura CA (Local candidates only)
Contract Length: 6 months
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Contract Analyst with technical expertise in domain management to lead our organization’s transition from a .org to a .gov domain. In this on-site role, you’ll work closely with our IT, Communications, and Leadership teams to ensure a smooth, secure, and compliant migration.
Please Note: This is an on-site role. We are only considering local candidates who can work at our Ventura office during the contract period without any relocation needed.
Key Responsibilities
Audit existing digital assets using the .org domain (websites, emails, third-party tools).
Create and manage a detailed project plan for the domain transition.
Coordinate submission and approval of the .gov domain request through federal channels (e.g., GSA).
Oversee DNS configuration, email authentication updates (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), SSL/TLS certificates, redirects, and CMS changes.
Test and validate system functionality before and after go-live.
Provide documentation, issue tracking, and internal training support.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in IT, digital operations, or technical project management.
Solid understanding of domain registration, DNS, email systems, and web infrastructure.
Experience with government-related domain transitions or .gov domain policies is a strong plus.
Strong communication, project coordination, and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration preferred.
Nice to Have
Prior .gov domain migration experience
Knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards
Comfort with tools like Google Search Console and DNS checkers
