    Job Description

    Longbridge Financial (LBF) is adding to our team a Contract Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This Contract role will play an integral part of our existing team with the potential opportunity to joining LBF on a full-time basis.

    Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in a meaningful way that is utilized to make critical business decisions.
    • Works closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop Tableau reports that support organizational goals.
    • Analyze business data to identify trends and insights to define reporting requirements.
    • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
    • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
    • Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering required
    • 5+ years of experience as a dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst required
    • Advanced Tableau architecture/development skills required
    • High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
    • Previous experience with MS PowerBI is a plus
    • Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook
    • Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
    • Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications
    • Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions
    • A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization
    • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proven ability to work with business owners in identifying reporting and dashboard requirements
    • Exemplary oral and written communications skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical community
