Job Description
BryceTech is looking for a highly skilled Contract Close Out Specialist that is responsible for managing and executing the administrative and financial activities necessary to successfully close out completed contracts within AFWERX’s innovation and rapid acquisition environment. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD, and Air Force policies, while also supporting accurate financial reconciliation and timely release of unliquidated obligations (ULOs).
Contract Closeout Execution:
Perform contract closeout duties for a variety of contract types (e.g., SBIR/STTR Phase I–III, OTAs, FFP, cost-reimbursement).
Review contracts, modifications, funding documents, invoices, and deliverables to confirm completion and compliance.
Ensure all required documentation is gathered and finalized, including DD Form 1594 and other closeout artifacts.
Coordinate with Contracting Officers (KOs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), program managers, and finance offices to facilitate smooth closeout. Financial Reconciliation:
Review and reconcile contract financial data, including unliquidated obligations, to identify and deobligate unused funds.
Collaborate with DFAS and FM offices to validate payment status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure funds are returned or reprogrammed properly.

Specialized Tool Experience : Proficient in contract management tools and financial systems (e.g., WAWF, PIEE, ACORS, DTS, DEAMS).
Additional Information
Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
