  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    What You’ll Do:

    • Responsible for complete contract lifecycle and related insurance documents
    • Draft agreements for legal review and coordinate execution
    • Update and maintain studio agreement templates and related forms
    • Inform internal and external stakeholders on insurance coverage needs as it pertains to the type of production or event
    • Review certificates of insurance to ensure satisfaction with studio requirements
    • Identify any high-risk activities and request for appropriate insurance coverage
    • Track insurance expiration dates for long-term clients and reach out for updated policies to prevent lapses in coverage
    • Manage contract and insurance for multiple productions simultaneously and prioritize based on urgency, escalating any timing concerns to internal stakeholders
    • Review and approve Draft Deal Memos before finalizing contracts
    • Create contract packages utilizing both existing templates and bespoke revisions, based upon scope of work and customer type
    • Effectively communicate and liaise with legal partners, internal stakeholders, project managers, and external customers
    • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills as it relates to:
      • Workflow management
      • Actioning requirements
      • Prioritizing timelines and deliverables
      • Understanding multi-tier insurance requirements
      • Spotting issues
      • Determining audience exposure
      • Translation and intent in communications
      • Cost and estimate breakdowns
      • Perform other clerical duties and tasks as required by the supervisor

    What You Must Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • 2+ years of Paralegal experience

    • Strong understanding of insurance coverage for production/events or willingness to learn
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM systems
    • Able to adapt to the unique and adjust with ease to the dynamic production environment
    • Knowledge of administration and record keeping
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
    • You have a strong work ethic and a high degree of professionalism
    • Excellent writing, filing, and document management skills

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
