1st Response Occupational Health is looking for a skilled Contract EMT or Paramedic to provide on-site medical support at an active construction site in Hobbs, NM. Responsibilities:
Provide on-site emergency medical services and first aid support at an active construction site
Assess, treat, and stabilize injured or ill workers in accordance with EMT or Paramedic scope of practice
Coordinate with local EMS, hospitals, and emergency services when advanced care or transport is required
Conduct routine health and safety monitoring of site personnel
Maintain accurate patient care reports and incident documentation
Ensure medical equipment and supplies are stocked, functional, and ready for deployment
Participate in safety briefings and collaborate with site safety officers on injury prevention initiatives
Requirements:
Current EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, or Paramedic certification (NREMT or state of New Mexico)
Valid New Mexico EMS licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
Current CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for Paramedics
Prior occupational health, industrial, or construction site medical experience preferred
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in the field
Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside construction and safety teams
Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in an outdoor, industrial environment
