    Contract Estate Planning Drafting Attorney

Your Legacy Legal Care – Houston, TX

Your Legacy Legal Care is seeking a Contract Estate Planning Drafting Attorney to support our growing estate planning and elder law practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys the technical side of the work—drafting, reviewing, and refining legal documents with precision and consistency.

If you prefer a behind‑the‑scenes role focused on high‑quality legal drafting rather than client consultations, this contract opportunity offers flexibility, steady assignments, and meaningful impact.

    About the Role

As a Contract Drafting Attorney, you will prepare and review estate planning documents based on design notes and instructions provided by our consulting attorneys. You will ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client goals and Texas law.

This position is contract‑based and does not require client meetings, sales responsibilities, or in‑office attendance unless preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and ancillary documents

Review drafted documents for accuracy, clarity, and legal sufficiency

Revise documents based on attorney notes and client objectives

Ensure all documents comply with Texas law and firm standards

Collaborate with consulting attorneys and the drafting team as needed

Maintain timely turnaround and consistent communication

Support quality control and document‑related process improvements

    What We’re Looking For

Licensed Texas attorney in good standing

Strong drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to interpret client goals and translate them into accurate legal documents

Familiarity with estate planning or elder law preferred (training available)

    WealthCounsel experience is a plus

Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple drafting assignments

Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines

Professional, collaborative, and committed to high‑quality work

    Why Work With Us

    Flexible contract arrangement

No client meetings or sales responsibilities

    Steady drafting workflow

    Supportive team and clear processes

Opportunity to deepen estate planning expertise

    Competitive contract compensation

    This is a remote position.
