    Position Overview

    A regional medical center in Shiprock, New Mexico is seeking two (2) Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physicians to provide comprehensive women's health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope obstetrics and gynecology in a collaborative hospital environment serving a diverse patient population. Physicians will provide obstetrical and gynecological care, perform procedures, and support the facility's women's health services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecology services

    • Deliver prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care

    • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions

    • Perform OB/GYN procedures and surgeries as clinically appropriate

    • Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

    • Participate in on-call coverage as required

    • Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation

    • Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams

    • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

    Clinical Services May Include

    • Prenatal and postnatal care

    • Labor and delivery management

    • Cesarean sections

    • Gynecologic procedures and surgery

    • Preventive women's health screenings

    • Family planning services

    • Diagnosis and management of reproductive health conditions

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

    • Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state

    • DEA registration

    • Current BLS and ACLS certification

    • Ability to obtain facility credentialing and privileging

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience in hospital-based OB/GYN practice

    • Experience providing full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care

    • Experience in rural or underserved healthcare settings

    • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary care teams

    • Labor and delivery unit

    • Outpatient women's health clinic

    • Collaborative team environment with nursing and specialty providers
