Who are we looking for?

We have a strong pipeline of exciting and career-enhancing full-time and part-time assignments across the Biotech, Marketing, Fintech, Consumer Goods, Pharma, and Technology sectors, and we're interested in hearing from PERM Immigration Paralegals to join us and commence their LOD journey.

Overview:

• Contract Position - Immediate Hiring Need
• Anticipated Duration - 2 months
• 100% Remote
• Contract Pay - $32/hour (flexible based on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Perform more substantive and client facing work than is typical for a Paralegal in a law firm setting including varied case relatedduties requiring specialized knowledge and skills in employment-based immigration matters.
• Independently perform tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, document review, case analysis, case drafting, etc.
• Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems, run reports as needed, and assist with review of cases.
• Work with clients to perform intake of cases, troubleshooting issues and establishing case strategy, along with recommending solutions and process improvements.

To join us, you will:

• Have at least 5 years of experience ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
• Be client centric - commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
• Possess extensive experience with the PERM process
• Possesses strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes

Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
