    About The Opportunity
    Our client is a leading provider of inspection services, program management, and compliance solutions for government and private sector clients nationwide. As a trusted partner on several large-scale HUD initiatives, they are committed to ensuring quality housing standards across the country.

     

    Position Overview:
    They are seeking a high-output Contract Recruiter to lead the sourcing, outreach, and hiring of Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspectors and NSPIRE-certified professionals nationwide. This role is critical to the success of our expanding portfolio of HUD contracts and inspection services.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with operations leadership to understand hiring needs, project timelines, and geographic priorities.
    • Source, screen, and pipeline experienced housing inspectors with strong knowledge of HUD protocols (HQS, NSPIRE, UPCS).
    • Conduct initial outreach and qualification calls with candidates.
    • Manage high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple U.S. markets simultaneously.
    • Track and report candidate progress in our ATS or project management systems.
    • Collaborate with internal compliance and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth pre-employment process.
    • Recommend process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and candidate experience.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in field services, construction, or government contract staffing.
    • Proven ability to manage high-volume sourcing and hiring across multiple geographies.
    • Familiarity with HUD inspection programs (HQS, NSPIRE, REAC, UPCS) strongly preferred, but not necessary.
    • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
    • Strong network and experience using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Boolean sourcing.

    Contract Details:

    Duration: 6-12 months (with potential for extension based on project needs)

    Hours: Flexible (Full-time preferred)

    Location: Washington, DC area preferred. Remote Flexible 

    Compensation: $30-$55/HR
