Contract Role: Associate Project Developer – Renewable Energy
We’re seeking a contract Associate Project Developer – Renewable Energy to support and advance hybrid land projects across solar, wind, and storage. This role will assist in driving projects from early-stage feasibility through permitting, interconnection, and financial close, ensuring each milestone is met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site identification and feasibility studies for hybrid land projects
Assist in land acquisition, site control, and permitting processes
Coordinate with utilities on interconnection applications and grid access
Support market research and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) development
Contribute to financial modeling, due diligence, and investment reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, and finance
Monitor risks, track project timelines, and prepare status updates for stakeholders
Contract Deliverables
Site evaluation and feasibility summary
Land control and permitting documentation
Interconnection strategy support
Financial model inputs and PPA support
Risk and milestone tracking reports
Contract Terms
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – remote with travel for land, permitting, and stakeholder engagement as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Land/Real Estate, or related field
2–5 years of experience in renewable energy development (solar, wind, storage, or hybrid land projects)
Familiarity with land acquisition, permitting, and interconnection processes
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
