    POSITION SUMMARY

    Under limited supervision, coordinate the definition of aircraft specifications, guiding global customers in selecting aircraft equipment to meet their needs and requests, while ensuring compliance with certification requirements and company processes. Participate in the development of new products and optional equipment, updating contractual technical data. Support the management of aircraft availability, providing accurate configuration inputs aligned with product development deadlines and requirements.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Under limited supervision, coordinate the interface with the worldwide customer base to ensure timely definition of low/medium complexity aircraft specifications (avionics/ entertainment/ interior/ exterior options) in accordance with customer requests while respecting certification requirements and the company's processes
    • Under limited supervision, participate in the development of new products and optional equipment, developing and updating contractual technical data (aircraft technical descriptions and options guides - including its prices), as well as their related detailed explanations, ensuring that customers are presented with and guided towards the accurate selection of the aircraft's equipment and maximizing business results.
    • Under limited supervision, manage aircraft availability, ensuring that the inputs for each aircraft configuration (“as contracted”) are timely and accurately provided to the company's internal areas.
    • Participate in strategic alignment with product development teams, aiming at the expansion of the business.
    • Under limited supervision, lead initiatives related to process improvements, new developments, and automation of the area's tools and processes.
    • Develop the relationship between Embraer and the customer throughout the specification process to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance the customer's perception of Embraer.
    • Use and continuously update the Salesforce database (and others) for configuration management and control.
    • Support the training of less experienced professionals.
    • Expand learning and skill base to a wide variety of job skills and personal competencies, including those necessary for succeeding in a team-based environment.

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Education:

    • BA/BS in Engineering or Aviation required.
    • Master's degree in such fields is a plus.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft configuration, aircraft delivery, engineering, product support or equivalent related experience.
    • Experience in aviation environment and strong understanding of aircraft configuration required. Customer C-Suite relationship skills, understanding of contractual language and delivery process are a plus.
    • Fluency in a second language and/or international experience are a plus.

    **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: **

    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in their work assignments, which are typically complex in nature. Identifies barriers to success, utilizing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills towards the development of creative solutions.
    • MS Office, Microsoft Teams and Salesforce (or similar) experience is required.
    • Has a good understanding and knowledge of the company's processes and procedures.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Interpersonal skills: must be able to manage all personalities, including C-Suite customers, builds effective relationships, uses diplomacy and tact
    • Organized, prepared, yet flexible.

    Working Conditions/Environment/Special Requirements

    • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
    • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
