Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1\. Applies cash on a daily basis to the retail pharmacy system and Home Infusion pharmacy system for patient and third party payers.

2\. Has a detailed knowledge of all job functions, corporate policies and procedures in the cash department.

3\. Minimizes cash reconciliation items.

4\. Copies batches and updates lockboxes on a daily basis.

5\. Prepares daily transmittals for deposit of cash receipts.

6\. Maintains an internal log of all transmittals and cash deposits.

7\. Processes cash write-offs, cash adjustments and cost center transfers on a daily basis.

8\. Processes refund requests.

9\. Corrects all on-line payments and/or adjustment errors as required.

10\. Resolves all deposits or posting discrepancies.

11\. Assists in the accounting department with monthly cash reconciliation.

12\. Interacts with other team members to ensure all are working towards the same objectives.

13\. Performs other duties as assigned.
