  • Responsibilities

    Trueline is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their team in NYC. This role will support large, multiphase, multimillion dollar design and construction projects, ensuring contracts are properly administered, compliant, and delivered on time.

    What You'll Do as the Contracts Administrator

    • Draft, distribute, and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers across all project phases
    • Track and process contract changes, ensuring adherence to company/project specs and internal policies
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to close out pending contracts, insurance, or documentation
    • Maintain accurate and up to date logs (contractor/supplier, change order, insurance, etc.) and ensure all documents are properly executed
    • Monitor and enforce deadlines for contract deliverables and compliance
    • Organize and store contract related documentation per department/project procedures

    Contracts Administrator Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of contract administration experience on complex, multiphase, multimillion dollar construction or related projects
    • Understanding of civil construction scopes, terminology, and associated processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work with contract templates or similar tools
    • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

    Nice to Haves as the Contracts Administrator:

    • Experience with contract management software or document control systems
    • Familiarity with change orders, insurance/subcontractor risk management, or supplier performance tracking
    • Previous exposure to design build, public sector contracts, or civil infrastructure projects
    • Basic understanding of procurement/purchasing workflows
