    Job Description

    _ Role Purpose:_

    NBCUniversal is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and highly efficient individual to support its TV and film marketing teams (with attorney oversight as necessary). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting entertainment marketing and an experienced team engaged in the creation of innovative marketing content and campaigns.

    Job Duties:

    • Draft, review, revise, and negotiate clearance agreements, location agreements, vendor agreements, equipment rental agreements, non-disclosure agreements, venue agreements, SOWs, promotions documents for contests/sweepstakes, and other contracts
    • Provide timely and thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues
    • Research and evaluate production issues
    • Process and upload contracts and correspondence into group files and databases
    • Participate in task forces to evaluate and establish new procedures to streamline workflow and enhance department productivity
    • Coordinate with team on additional projects and priorities

    _ Basic Requirements:_

    • A Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3+ years of experience, or a Juris Doctor Degree

    _ Desired Characteristics:_

    • Solid communication and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, such as Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with all levels of company personnel and with outside parties
    • Capability to process and analyze complex information, and utilize problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to work late and on weekends on short notice, if necessary
    • Experience drafting production agreements and/or handling production-related legal issues
    • Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters, including appropriately prioritizing among them
    • Paralegal or comparable experience
    • Basic understanding of legal terms and conditions relevant to the entertainment industry
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced, corporate business environment
    • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, including skill in reviewing contracts involving Spanish-speaking parties, the ability to understand and interpret complex legal language in Spanish contracts, and conduct professional communications in Spanish.

    This position has been designated as hybrid , generally contributing from the Studio City office in LA a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
