    About the Role
    We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Contract Support Specialist to support the buildout, management, and dissemination of contract data across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records within our contract management system, ensuring compliance reporting needs are met, and communicating critical contractual obligations to internal stakeholders.

    This is a consulting role requiring strict confidentiality, independence, and adherence to conflict-of-interest regulations.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update contract records in the Cobblestone contract management software system.
    • Support organizational reporting requirements by preparing and delivering contract-related data.
    • Review executed contract documents for key content and extract/disseminate relevant clauses to internal subject matter experts (SMEs).
    • Ensure departments are aware of contractual and regulatory compliance requirements tied to customer agreements.
    • Conduct research and data review to support contract compliance efforts.
    • Manage large volumes of data and ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of contract records.

    Note: This role does not involve evaluating terms, negotiating, or suggesting contract redlines. The focus is on post-execution contract compliance support.

     

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Strong research, comprehension, and analytical skills.
    • Proven ability to digest and disseminate large volumes of data with accuracy and clarity.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe programs (PDF processing and editing).
    • Experience in contracts, compliance, or legal/regulatory documentation.
    • Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain strict confidentiality.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must be willing to sign an NDA and hourly consulting agreement.
    • Must certify no conflicts of interest and agreement to comply with Subpart 9.5 – Organizational and Consultant Conflicts of Interest (Acquisition.gov).

    Preferred

    • Industry experience in government contracting, compliance, or regulated industries.
    • Familiarity with contract management systems (Cobblestone or similar).
