    Position: Contributions Database Administrator Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

    Department: Development

    Job Summary:

    The Contributions Database Administrator records and acknowledges organization’s donor data and donations using the Bloomerang software. They will be processing donor information and donations using best practice techniques to maintain optimal data integrity in Bloomerang. The Contributions Database Administrator provides the Development Director needed detailed information related to all fundraising and grant tracking processes to satisfy the request for information required by the Board of Directors and by Senior Management.

    This position reports to the Development Director.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Oversees management of confidential, computerized records of financial and in-kind donors, their giving histories, and other personal information.
    • Pull data/documentation from database and prepare data files for use in outreach and cultivation.
    • Communicates with Marketing and Mail Department for outreach databases.
    • Generate and provide data files for either solicitation of donors.
    • Troubleshoot problems, improve overall processes, and ensure deadlines can be met even during periods of heavy gift volume.
    • Responsible for data processing and tracking planning and execution of Harbor House events.
    • Cultivate donor relationships as related to Harbor House special events.
    • Compile, maintain, and prepares various reports.
    • Analyze trends in events, identifying issues and recommending solutions to the Event Manager, Development Director and to the CEO.
    • Responsible for the daily operations of any event data software.
    • Work closely with Event Manager, Communications and Outreach Coordinator, and Marketing Manager to ensure all aspects of events are successful, such as marketing materials, social media, website updates, etc.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Knowledge of Bloomerang.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School diploma required. Associates Degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
    • Two years of experience in the field of accounting or donor relations.
    • Has valid driver’s license.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

    · Must complete and maintain certification in First Aid and CPR.

    · Receives acceptable test results from TB and Drug Screening.
