    Job Summary:

    Cinder Residuals Texas is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Control Room Operator to manage plant operations from the central control room at our Fairfield, TX facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the plant by monitoring system performance, responding to alarms, and analyzing data trends and equipment conditions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Monitor plant processes and equipment remotely using SCADA and PLC systems

    · Maintain awareness of real-time process data and make adjustments to maintain optimal operating conditions

    · Respond to alarms or abnormal conditions by coordinating with field personnel or initiating corrective actions

    · Record operational data such as flows, levels, temperatures, and pressures in logs and databases

    · Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site operators, maintenance, and supervisors

    · Start and stop pumps, motors, and equipment based on operational needs

    · Assist with troubleshooting process and equipment issues by analyzing data trends

    · Ensure that all activities align with safety, environmental, and company operating procedures

    · Assist with shift turnover by providing detailed, accurate information to incoming operators

    · Maintain cleanliness and organization within the control room

    · Support other Site Operations at the request of immediate Supervisor or Plant Manager

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    · High school diploma or GED required

    · Experience in plant operations, utilities, or industrial control rooms preferred

    · Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMIs, or PLC-based operations

    · Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple systems simultaneously

    · Basic understanding of industrial processes, pumps, valves, and instrumentation

    · Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

    · Computer literacy including basic use of spreadsheets, logging software, and digital

    · controls

    · Ability to work alone and make sound decisions under pressure

    · Valid driver’s license required

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    · Work is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards

    · May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery

    · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks

    · Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function

    · PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed
