We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer who will design safe, code-compliant electrical systems for industrial or commercial projects. This role focuses on power distribution, control systems, and construction-ready documentation, from concept through installation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, control, and low-voltage electrical systems

• Develop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and load calculations

• Perform voltage drop, short-circuit, and coordination studies

• Produce electrical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, EPLAN, or similar tools

• Ensure compliance with NEC and applicable industry standards (NFPA, IEEE, IEC, UL508A as applicable)

• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to resolve design conflicts

• Support RFIs, submittals, shop drawing reviews, and site visits as needed

• Deliver electrical design milestones on schedule with minimal rework

What We’re Looking For

• 3–7 years of electrical design experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure environments

• Strong understanding of power distribution, grounding, panels, and control systems

• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, EPLAN, or similar)

• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Clear communicator with a practical, buildable design mindset

Education & Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  or Associate degree / technical diploma with relevant experience
