    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a Control Systems Programmer. As a Control Systems Programmer, you will design and create submittal packages for projects. You will create these packages by reading and understanding project plans and specifications, creating a Theory of Operation writeup, writing the PLC code, writing the SCADA code, creating a User Manual, and creating a Functional Testing Procedure. The submittal package will be built using a PFD indexed document. As the Control Systems Programmer you will also go into the field to help test installed systems and make any necessary programming changes, and perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years
    • Knowledge and understanding of Water and Wastewater theory of operations
    • Microsoft Office
    • Understand how to read project specs and drawings
    • Able to build and modify PDFs.
    • Capable of programming various SCADA systems (Rockwell, iFix, CitectSCADA, etc)
    • Capable of programming Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000, RSLogix, etc.)
    • Capable of programming Modicon PLCs (Unity, Proworx, etc)

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit or work at desk for extended periods
    • Capable of standing, walking, bending, or kneeling during field site work
    • Comfortable working in outdoor environments including, but not limited to, water and wastewater facilities, and treatment plants
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
    • Must be able to climb stairs or ladders to access control panels or elevated equipment
    • Ability to travel to job sites with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
