    Our client is a neuroscience specialty center dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of neurological conditions. This team member will work for the MSO (Management Services Organization) and will oversee three organizations: U.S. Neuroscience Speciality Centers (neurology practice); Topple Diagnostics (diagnostic services company); and U.S. Neuroscience Partners (the MSO). The focus is offering innovative diagnostic solutions and personalized treatment plans for patients. Their services address a variety of neurological concerns, including cognitive and behavioral issues, headaches, dizziness, and balance problems. Committed to a compassionate, patient-centered approach, the clinic ensures each individual receives customized care tailored to their unique needs. This position will focus on promoting and selling the full spectrum of general neurology services.

    Job Summary:

    Our Client is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to manage day-to-day and strategic financial operations across three businesses. This position plays a critical role in overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, and payroll administration, while also providing guidance to leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial health.

    This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Atlanta office and is ideal for a growth-minded individual looking to take ownership of processes and partner closely with leadership.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Banking & Reconciliation

    • Perform daily bank balance checks and reconciliations across multiple entities using NetSuite
    • Manage and reconcile Truist Online Banking accounts and company American Express credit cards

    Financial Reporting & Analytics

    • Maintain and update NetSuite, ensuring accurate data flow
    • Review and present financial analytics and reports to leadership
    • Create invoices and manage AR tracking

    Payroll & Compensation

    • Run complex semi-monthly payroll via Paychex across three entities
    • Track and manage commission and bonus pay
    • Process payroll adjustments and ensure compliance

    Billing & Expense Management

    • Generate client invoices and oversee billing activity
    • Handle Expensify -driven expense reporting and reimbursements
    • Write and process weekly checks

    Software & Tools

    • NetSuite (Required)
    • Paychex
    • Expensify
    • Truist Online Banking
    • Athena (used for insurance activity and commission tracking)
    • Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc.)

    Strategic Contributions

    • Provide financial advisement and insights to business leadership
    • Improve and implement forecasting and budgeting processes
    • Identify opportunities for process and system improvement
    • Participate in company-wide strategic planning from a financial lens

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a Controller or similar leadership role
    • Excel power user with strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
    • Prior experience managing multi-entity payroll, reporting, and compliance
    • Strong understanding of GAAP
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
    • Dynamic, solutions-oriented, and energized by improving systems and processes
    • Clinical or healthcare finance experience a plus
    • HR background a plus
