Controller – Finance & Operations
Take Ownership. Lead with Authority. Shape the Future.
We’re looking for more than a bookkeeper. This isn’t a back-office number-crunching role — it’s a leadership position on the executive team. You’ll own the financial systems of a growing healthcare company, negotiate with payers and partners, and provide the analysis that guides our strategy and growth.
Since 2003, Body Balance Physical Therapy has been helping patients live life to the fullest. Now we’re looking for the right person to bring clarity, accountability, and leadership to the financial side of our work.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Direct Impact – Sit at the executive table, influencing financial and strategic decisions that shape the company’s future.
Leadership Authority – Lead finance, billing, and credentialing teams, building systems that run smoothly and deliver results.
Negotiation Power – Work directly with payers and vendors, driving better reimbursement and stronger financial terms.
Strategic Analysis – Go beyond the numbers, turning financial reports into insights and actions that fuel company growth.
Work-Life Balance – Flexible schedule, supportive culture, and autonomy in how you get results.
Rewarding Compensation – Performance-based bonuses, profit sharing, and incentives that reward results.
Growth Opportunity – As our company expands, so will your role—building expertise and influence with every step.
What You’ll Do
Lead all accounting, reporting, and cash flow management.
Track profitability, payer mix, CPT reimbursements, and revenue trends.
Strengthen billing, credentialing, and collections systems for accuracy and efficiency.
Create internal controls, financial policies, and oversee expense authority.
Provide forward-looking analysis and scenario planning for growth and risk management.
Negotiate with payers, vendors, and partners to secure strong financial outcomes.
Mentor and develop finance and billing staff into a high-performing team.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re open to the right person—whether you’ve already built a few years of experience in finance or accounting, or you’re hungry to step into a leadership role with strong training and support.
3–5+ years of progressive finance, accounting, or operations leadership (this may include time spent in school if that was part of your path).
Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers; healthcare finance experience is a plus but not required.
Proven negotiation ability and confidence influencing outcomes.
Clear communicator who can explain financial information to decision-makers.
Detail-oriented, but also able to step back and see the bigger picture.
Motivated by accuracy, systems, and making a lasting impact on a growing business.
