Controller – Heavy Civil/Sitework (South Atlanta, GA)

What You’ll Do

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts
• Develop budgets and track project performance to support cost control and profitability
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Supervise audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience, preferably in construction or contracting
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Hands-on experience managing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Required experience with Sage 100; proficiency in other accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• On-site presence in Newnan, GA required
