    Job Description

    Job Purpose: The Controller will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records and reports.

    This role will provide strategic and tactical leadership over the accounting department, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. The Controller will manage the full cycle of accounting activities, internal controls, and support financial planning and analysis efforts.

    · Oversee and ensure the integrity of the general ledger, month-end and year-end financial closings, and preparation of internal and external financial statements.

    · Lead the development of monthly and annual financial reports for executive leadership, board of managers, and other stakeholders.

    · Lead and coordinate annual financial statement audits and preparation of annual tax returns.

    · Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General and Inventory accounting.

    · Maintain and enhance accounting systems, controls, and procedures to ensure accurate, complete, and timely

    reporting.

    · Support the preparation of presentations and materials for board meetings, stakeholder communication, and other ad-hoc requests

    · Lead and mentor the accounting team; set goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.

    · Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

    · Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

    · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

    · CPA required.

    · Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

    · Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer packaged goods preferred.

    · Deep knowledge of GAAP and inventory costing.

    · Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft 360, Microsoft Navision, NetSuite, or similar).

    · Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

    · Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. · High ethical standards and commitment to integrity.
