Company & Position Overview

Established ABA healthcare organization is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the CFO, focused on managing the accounting function, ensuring accurate financials, and building structure across reporting and processes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in accounting in healthcare
• Hands-on operator who can manage and execute
• Detail-oriented with strong financial oversight
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with systems
• Understands how finance supports operations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end close
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure team performance
• Maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Improve processes, controls, and reporting systems

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience
• Healthcare industry experience required
• Experience managing a team
