    Job Description: Missouri Organic Recycling is currently seeking a Finance Controller to lead our accounting team and provide detailed financial reporting to the leadership team. As a key member of leadership, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, and reporting functions. **

    Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

    Working Environment: Hybrid

    Department: Finance / Management

    Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all accounting operations including billing, journal entries, accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and payroll
    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff
    • Create annual forecast/budget by location, create weekly/monthly/annual financial reports
    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure
    • Manage banking relationships, financing facilities, and liaise with external auditors as necessary
    • Develop financial strategies to improve profitability, partner with leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and profitability enhancements
    • Train and develop operations teams on financial acumen and policies with oversight of weekly/monthly financial data
    • Accurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company’s credit control policies and procedures are adhered to
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies

    Qualifications we consider:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA highly preferred.
    • 8+ years of experience as senior-level accounting or finance manager; private accounting experience preferred.
    • Experience with financial modeling and reporting tools required.
    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to work outside standard business hours when required.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to travel for meetings, training, or conferences as needed.
