    Do you enjoy working independently? Are you looking for a position with an established organization? This group located in Phoenix specializes in retail projects in multiple states. Seeking candidates with at least 7 years' experience in the real estate/property management industry. Yardi experience a PLUS! Company offers and flexible schedule and a stable work environment.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • New lease and tenant set up including preparing leases and new lease modifications
    • Managing the loan process and draws
    • Cash management for 40+ bank accounts
    • Creating financial statements
    • Tracking pre-acquisition costs and maintain cost segments for both active and closed deals
    • Monitoring 1031 exchange deposits and any interest earned
    • Preparing consolidated financials for LLCs with multiple locations or projects
    • Applying strong knowledge of TIC (Tenancy in Common) accounting
    • Identifying final-year tax returns, estimate associated costs, calculate final cash distributions, and manage entity dissolutions
    • Handling annual 1099 preparation, distribution, and electronic filing with the IRS
    • Performing annual CAM reconciliations and budgets
    • Weekly AP duties
    • Communicating with 3rd party property management
    • Reviewing operating agreements

    Requirements:

    At least 7 years' experience accounting in the real estate/property management industry

    Experience in both accruals based and cash-based accounting

    Knowledge of the 1031 process

    Experience in managing an LLC
