Position Summary
The Controller oversees all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records and supports strategic decision-making through timely financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage all accounting functions: AP, AR, payroll, purchasing, and reconciliations.
· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
· Oversee budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
· Monitor internal controls and implement improvements.
· Support strategic planning and special projects.
· Supervise accounting staff and manage departmental operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises accounting staff. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workflow management in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
· CPA or CMA designation preferred.
· Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems).
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
