TAKE CHARGE CONTROLLER
$15 - $20 Million dollar company along with a $2 Million co-owned company are seeking a take charge Controller, who will become a key member of our management team. This position will be in office and require attendance at other departmental meetings to ensure understanding and engagement in all aspects of the company.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of similar experience, be proficient in QuickBooks and have a working knowledge of GAAP.
Personal responsibilities include:
· Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
· Bank reconciliations
· Credit card reconciliation and expense reports
· All Journal Entries including payroll through timesheet software
· Entry of all monthly journal entries as well as maintain prepaid and accrual schedules
· Schedule monthly Rolling Quarters meetings
· Prepare and present monthly financials
· Preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts
· End of Year close with Accounting Firm
· Payroll procedures for out of state work
· HR compliance and tracking individual and departmental performance
· IT coordination and purchasing
· Supervision of AP/Payroll and AR Managers
