Controller

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 DOE + Robust Benefits
Location: Loveland, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire

How you’ll spend your time as a Controller:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and long-range planning.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with nonprofit and church standards.
• Partner with leadership on ministry initiatives, capital projects, and resource planning.
• Support the church board and finance committees with clear, timely financial insight.
• Lead and develop the finance and business operations team.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Nonprofit or church experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, audits, and governance.
• Proven ability to work with boards and senior leadership.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and a servant-leadership mindset.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
