Our client, a growing real estate investment and property management company, is seeking a Controller to serve as the financial steward of the organization. This individual will oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and treasury functions while ensuring financial accuracy, cash management, and strong internal controls. The Controller will work closely with leadership, property managers, and external partners to provide timely financial insight that drives performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• Strong GAAP, tax, and financial reporting knowledge

• Real estate/property management industry background and Yardi experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements

• Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking administration

• Direct tax compliance, payroll, benefits, and audit preparation

• Maintain Yardi system administration and implement process improvements
