G&A is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller with a blend of technical financial acumen and strategic vision. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves overseeing financial operations, guiding a small finance team, and shaping the company's financial strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead long-term financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- ERP/GL Systems Implementation: Drive ERP or general ledger system implementations; experience with Sage Intacct is highly desirable.
- Team Management: Mentor and develop a collaborative, high-performance finance team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership and external partners to support financial initiatives and business objectives.
- Financial Systems Optimization: Leverage modern financial tools, including AI-driven solutions, to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- GAAP Expertise: Strong background in GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Controller Experience: Experience as a Controller in a smaller, agile environment.
- Professional Services Background: Preferred experience in professional services or industries with complex financial structures.
- Financial Tools Proficiency: Proficiency with ERP and general ledger systems, ideally including Sage Intacct, as well as advanced Excel and financial modeling tools.
Technical Skills
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and reporting tools.
- Experience with technology-powered financial planning tools and modern financial systems.
Leadership & Management Style
- Team Leadership: Proven experience growing and managing a small finance team with a focus on capability development.
