Job Description

Finance leader responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, M&A diligence and integration, audit, cash management, and tax compliance for a high growth, acquisitive, PE sponsored healthcare organization. This role is a strategic senior level position that requires extensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and technology platforms. Highly entrepreneurial “roll up sleeves” approach.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports in Sage Intacct
• Build and maintain in depth understanding of the business and key drivers.
• Lead and coordinate external audits.
• Maintain strong revenue recognition policies and controls.
• Review and produce month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Compliance with all local tax requirements in 12 states and growing.
• Assure proper internal controls.
• Lead and mentor growing team into high performing unit.
• Seamless integration of acquisitions.
• Support treasury and banking relationship.
• Lead financial due diligence for M&A process.
• Proper recording of acquisition transactions.
• Accounting literature research as needed.
• Constant process improvement for increased efficiency, automation, and controls.

Qualifications

** Minimum Qualifications** __

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting.
• Strong people manager who develops team members effectively.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, including technical accounting procedures and government regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

** Preferred Qualifications**

• Healthcare / physician practice rollup experience.
• Worked with private equity sponsor.
• Advanced Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• CPA License.
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct.

Salary range:

Controller - $110,000-$140,000

Sr. Level - $165,000-$185,000
