    We've experienced tremendous growth in the past few years and are excited to add a Controller to our leadership team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced finance and accounting professional to make a strategic impact in a family-owned, service-based business within the Green Industry. While this role will oversee some day-to-day accounting activities, the greater opportunity lies in building financial infrastructure that supports our people, enhances efficiencies, and strengthens organizational processes.

    We offer a base salary of $105,000 - $115,000 with health, vision, PTO, 401K, and an amazing culture, strong team environment, and the opportunity to make a big impact!

    Requirements for our Controller:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, master's degree preferred.
    • 5+ years' experience in small service-based business as a Controller or Chief Financial Officer.
    • 3+ years' experience developing processes, systems and business administration best practices for a $7+ million organization.
    • Tech savvy with experience implementing systems automation.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities for our Controller:

    • Supporting the day-to-day accounting activities of the organization including A/R, A/P, and job costing reporting.
    • Leading our team of administrative professionals to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes for all “back of the house” operations.
    • Analyzing financial results including creation of the budget & forecast, preparation & analysis of financial statements, and implementation of strong financial controls
    • Creating reports and dashboards to track results and monitor progress on key measures.
    • Leading the development, communication, and implementation of effective operational strategies and processes that support strategic plans.
    • Streamlining technology and processes across the organization.
    • Establishing an efficient and effective approach to change management.
