Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development
Design and develop electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery, including PLC hardware, HMI applications, and machine vision systems.
Create detailed design specifications, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
Software Development
Develop PLC software from the ground up using industry best practices.
Customize control software to meet client requirements and project specifications.
Design and program intuitive HMIs to support effective operator interaction.
Project Leadership
Lead medium-scale projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Prepare and maintain project documentation such as design drawings, progress reports, and timesheets.
Testing & Commissioning
Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance.
Support installation, commissioning, and startup at customer sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and startup phases.
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and automation best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
3+ years of experience in control systems design, automation, or electrical engineering.
Technical Skills
Strong PLC programming and control system design experience.
HMI design and programming expertise.
Familiarity with machine vision systems and supporting software.
Knowledge of industry standards and automation best practices.
