We are looking for an HR GENERALIST to join our team.
The HR Associate works as part of a client-focused team to administer Human Resource programs and policies for Converge clients. Converge Associates collaborate extensively with and receive oversight from other more senior members of the client team to complete assignments.
IN ADDITION TO THESE RESPONSIBILITIES OTHER JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Coordinate Human Resource programs and practices including onboarding, off-boarding, policy, job descriptions, performance management, compensation, benefits, leave of absence, HRIS, etc. for multiple Converge clients.
- Provide administrative support to Human Resource functions as needed, including correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
- Act as liaison to resolve routine questions regarding benefits, policy, and Human Resource practices to ensure effective utilization of policies and positive employee relations.
- Ensure client programs are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; as well as help prepare employee handbooks.
- Assist in conducting studies, performing research, and preparing reports.
- Collect and analyzes client and industry data.
- Participate in professional development sessions or seminars.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed on the Converge network.
- Analyze opportunities for new programs/services for clients.
- Collaborate with other Converge team members.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required. Field of study in Human Resource Management or relevant field preferred.
- Ideally 1-3 years of Human Resource experience in a professional setting.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of basic HR processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple projects.
- Works effectively independently and as a team member.
- Ability to communicate with clients and employees in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Relentless attention to details.
