POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT HEAD: SALES OPERATIONS
FLSA EXEMPTION: NON-EXEMPT
COMPENSATION: $16.50-$20.00/HOUR TOTAL 20 HOURS A WEEK
LOCATION: Austin, TX (Must reside in and around location during time of application). No relocation package offered. No virtual work option available. Applicants must be able to physically work at the office facility.
POSITION PURPOSE: The position of administrative assistant consists of being responsible for providing administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Assist Sales Operations with special projects
• Answer phone calls, take messages and forward messages to appropriate parties
• File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and general mail
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
• Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, and performing essential bookkeeping work
• Other duties as assigned by Manager as applicable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma and/or GED
• Valid Driver’s License (some travel required, must have working vehicle)
• Proficiency and experience using Google D
• General knowledge of office management practices and procedures
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, copy machine, etc.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Attention to detail; strong computer skills, and superior telephone communication skills at high volume throughout the day. Must have strong analytical skills.
• Business Planning Establishes, develops, communicates, and implements effective plans that align unit, department, and individual contribution with CMT’s Mission/Vision and corporate goals.
