Responsibilities: Convergent Energy + Power, the leading independent energy storage developer in North America, is offering successful candidates an opportunity to build a career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The position is based in New York City with occasional travel. The role is designed for entry-level analysts, with responsibility for rotating projects including but not limited to functions in business development, customer engagement / marketing, project execution, asset management, financial optimization, and regulatory / policy development. Requirements: Candidates must have exemplary problem-solving skills, be able to communicate clearly, and proactively identify and address diverse business challenges in a fast-paced work environment. Experience: A successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a record of high academic achievement. Advanced degree holders are also encouraged to apply. Temperament: The candidate must be a team player, able to successfully interface and drive consensus with all employee levels, including company executives. A creative, proactive, problem-solving, and “self-starter” work ethic is necessary. Skills: This position requires the ability to assist with and perform detailed analyses; gathering, documenting, and drawing conclusions from disparate sources. A successful candidate will also have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner. He or she must be able to plan, organize, and complete numerous assignments simultaneously, work well under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities. An analyst must also have strong problem-solving skills, with emphases on attention-to-detail and the integrity of findings / recommendations. He or she will also have a high level of proficiency in the use of relevant computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office). Compensation: Salary: The initial base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on both individual performance as well as the overall success of the business.
