    Job Summary:
    We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to creating high-quality dishes. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our guests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.
    - Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in an appealing and professional manner.
    - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    - Assist in menu planning, including seasonal and special dish considerations.
    - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
    - Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
    - Support the Head Chef in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
    - Participate in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
    - Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
    - Stay updated on food industry trends and techniques to improve skills and contribute to menu innovations.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
    - Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary environment.
    - Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
    - Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    - Passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
    - Capability to work in a hot and busy kitchen environment.
